In Japan, we have this thing called the “Oseibo”. Basicly it is like a gift to people around for saying thank you and stuff. Little different from X’mas presents, it is more formal.
Apparently, the young people are starting to not following such traditions (including myself…never). Obviously with x’mas, new year in place, it’ll be a killer to your wallet for sure. However, it is nice to get such gifts.
